Optium Museum Acrylic was used for framing of larger works.
  • Anti-reflective Allows viewers to clearly see the ancient calligraphic artworks rather than their own reflection.
  • 99% UV blocking Protects the artworks from the most damaging light wavelengths, helping prevent fading and degradation.
  • Abrasion resistant A durable hard coat protects against scratches from cleaning and general exposure to the public.
  • Acrylic is half the weight of glass and shatter resistant Safeguards against injury and damage to artwork and visitors.
  • Anti-static protection exceeds that of glass Immediately eliminates static charge.  Makes for safer and easier framing and less cleaning.

The Work

The 1000-year-old ancient calligraphic artworks exhibited are by leading artists from Türkiye and around the world. Among them, works of Ottoman Sultans who were calligraphers, including Sultan Mahmud.
